The period of European colonization of America in Jamestown and Plymouth Rock.
There were a lot of hard times learning how to survive in the new world.

1700S
The fight for independence leads to the formation of a new country – the United States.
A lot of blood had to be spilled to create the new nation. There were a lot of brave people who risked everything to create a new government to rule a new nation.

1800'S
This is a very dynamic time for the United States, from the Louisiana Purchase, Lewis and Clark expedition and the War of 1812.
The U.S. expands west and has serious growing pains. The fragile new government goes through it’s toughest test during the Civil War. Reconstruction after the Civil War is a growing time as well as the Wild West and gold rush.

1900'S
The 1900s brings about incredible inventions and innovations but also two bloody World Wars.
The first half of the 1900s was dominated by the 2 world wars where most of the world, including the US, were fighting to stop evil empires from trying to take over the world.
The second half of 1900s for the United States brought incredible economic growth and power; establishing the U.S. as the most powerful nation in the world. The Atomic age has started and the race begins.
